Biography

Sunday Evaristus ABONYI is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Social Work with speciality in Social Gerontology/Geriatric Social Work in addition to a Postgraduate Diploma and Masters of Business Administration. In addition to the specialized area, Dr Abonyi have research interest in community development, Social Research, Youth and Gender studies.
Dr Abonyi has published widely in many reputable Journals at both local, national and international levels and have equally attended many conferences in Nigeria. He is a member of Nigerian Association of Social Workers, Nigerian Association of Social Work Educators and Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Management. He like relating with people of all ages,race/tribe and status without bias. Reading, travelling and listening to music are his hobbies.
