History

Since its establishment in the 2013/2014 Academic Session, the Department of Social Work at the University of Ilorin has been a beacon of academic excellence and innovation in Social Work. From its modest beginnings with just 158 students and three academic staff members, the department has grown, evolving into a dynamic academic institution with over 8 dedicated academic staff members and a vibrant student body of 830.
